Our philosophy

Carina and Chantal

Hello!

We’re event cycle and we’re here to help event planners reduce waste and create a positive impact in the process.

With a combined background of over 20 years in the events industry, Chantal and Carina have seen first hand the amount of items leftover post-event. Some things end up in skips onsite and others are transported to storage units where they forgotten about until they end up in skips offsite. Neither option has a sustainable outcome and we want to change that.

Through our volunteering, both of us have seen the demand for all sorts of products from a whole range of UK charities and this is where we make the crucial connection. Those 7 last-minute shelving units that were bought for the event? They will work wonders in 7 flats for a housing project for the homeless. The 5 plinths that were only used for 2 days? The kids at the local art club will be delighted to display their works on them. Whatever it is, we can find a home for it. And who knows, maybe we can build some exhibition stands with some leftover materials too. The possibilities are endless.

Ultimately, our mission is to reduce waste post event by repurposing and redistributing materials to charities and the event industry to encourage a change to a circular economy.

The circular economy

"A circular economy is based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in

use, and regenerating natural systems"

Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Instead of the old linear model of Take, Make, Dispose the circular economy functions on the basis of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. With plenty of companies helping to solve the first task of reduction, we are here to help with the reuse and recycle tasks, keeping products and materials in use. When you don't know what to do with your residual waste, we will support you in finding a

second life for it

We know, we have been there, you only have 6 hours to de-rig and leave the hall empty, so the easiest route is to throw all the leftovers into a skip. Give us a call instead, preferably before your event, but even during your event, and let us know what you can donate. We will make sure that the items are picked up swiftly and saved from the skip.

Support the circular economy and donate your unwanted

event items to us.
