In the midst of the metaverse's rising influence in marketing and advertising, Jack Morton. a brand experience agency known for their polished and boundary-pushing executions, most recently worked with Meta at the 2024 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
With a number of iterations of their branding being produced, physical elements are an obvious need and one of those is, of course, graphics. Whether onsite at an in-person event, adorning a billboard or an external structure, graphics will be needed to direct or inform an audience with their brand and messaging.
Leftover after one of those physical iterations was 211 sqm of banners full of fun images and some emojis too. Not wanting this to go to waste, Jack Morton got in touch with Event cycle to keep the material in use and out of landfill.Â
Not for the first time, Event Cycle sent the material to our beloved partners at Calluna Upcycling who support and promote work for women who struggle to maintain the usual 9-5 or need to work from home on a flexible pattern not available in the current employment offering near to them. As well as this they upcycle old material into products that these women can sell for their own benefit (with 10% dedicated to supporting a local charity) or that clients, like Jack Morton, can buy back for future use.Â
On this occasion, 75 tote bags and 75 pencil cases were from the fabric which were bought back by Jack Morton and their client, a full circle of graphic donation to gift.
Circular Design
Embrace the power of circular economy thinking from the beginning when designing your next project. Turning the single-use into multi-use, the useless for your next event into the useful for a charity and most importantly keeping materials in use and out of landfill. In this world of endless possibilities, your events can be both remarkable and responsible, leaving a legacy that echoes through the communities you work in. Let's embark on this journey together, crafting experiences that not only captivate the present but also cultivate a flourishing future for generations to come. #EventCycleIt
