Event Cycle has a network of organisations in the UK and abroad consisting of charities, community groups, schools and social enterprises. They are all working hard to benefit the communities they operate in and the causes they serve. Items donated to these organisations are allocated on a first-come, first-served, local-first approach unless otherwise agreed (e.g. preferred charity type or partners given priority) Any items that need to be debranded or upcycled, will be handled with the upmost care with charities, community groups and social enterprises to process your items and make them suitable for the local community or returned to you or your clients. As well as community organisations we have a knowledge of the best recycling routes for a large number of event materials should an item not be suitable for donation. In some circumstances, we may donate items back into the events industry if this is suitable and agreeable for your project.

There's no need to send them yourself if you don't want to! As part of the service, Event Cycle will arrange the collection or delivery of the items to the community organisation depending on your location's capabilities.

Yes! If you have preferred charity partners or a cause that is particularly close to your heart, we can prioritise these as part of our donations process. For region selection, we are happy to accommodate requests but would prefer to donate in the area local to the event to prevent excess transport emissions resulting from longer journeys.
