Saving banner stands from the bin

Sandstar Communications, a marketing and PR agency, recently got in touch with Event Cycle after reorganizing their internal storage and finding a number of 800mm

banner stands leftover from client events. No longer needed and not wanting to throw them in the bin, Sandstar hoped Event Cycle could help.

Having worked with RHM Event Graphics previously, Event Cycle had learned that the graphic production and installation studio supports the charity Goods For Good. Goods For Good source and deliver large quantities of essential items to pre-identified vulnerable communities in need in 24 countries worldwide. Items include clothing, medicines, blankets and hygiene products. RHM support the charity by providing printed graphics for their fundraising events.

An upcoming fundraiser in September required a particular size of banner stand which happened to be the same size Sandstar were looking to repurpose. Event Cycle arranged for delivery and the banners were redistributed for a longer life rather than ending up in landfill.
